There are different types of visas available for foreigners intending to enter Canada from Bangladesh, and you must ensure that you apply for the correct visa suited to the purpose of your trip.

Tourist / Business Visa Requirements:
Passport:
Original passport with a validity of at least six months after the intended date of departure and a minimum of two blank pages for the visa stamp. a) Copy of previous passports and visas issued.
b) Attach all your old passports (if any).
c) If any visa request was refused, details of the original letter issued by the authorities of that country would be preferred.

Photo Specification:
Two recent passport-size photographs with a white background and without borders (Size: 3.5 cm x 5.0 cm).
Please Note: Photographs should not be more than three months old, scanned/stapled, and should not have been used in any previous visas.
Covering Letter:
A covering letter from the applicant stating their name, designation, passport number, purpose of the trip, and outlining who will be responsible for the full costs of the trip – travel, accommodation, expenses, etc. Addressed to – The Visa Officer, Embassy of Canada.
Invitation Letter:
Required for business visas.
Forwarding Letter:
a) Forwarding letter/NOC from the applicant’s company authority on the company’s letterhead stating the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, purpose, and duration of the visit.
b) Visa request letter from the educational institute or student card/evidence of school enrollment (if the applicant is a student).
Proof of Occupation:
a) Company registration certificate (original notarized English translation and photocopy of the original) if the applicant is a first-time traveler or a proprietor.
b) Office ID card copy & visiting cards.
Financials:
a) Company’s or personal bank statement for the last six months mentioning the bank’s name and bank’s telephone number clearly.
b) Salary slip for the last six months (if any).
Airline & Hotel Reservation:
Ticket itinerary & hotel booking.
Processing Time
The total approximate processing time is 7 to 10 working days (Time may vary depending on the applicant’s profile and the actual processing time by the embassy).

- Passport Scan Copy: Clearly scanned Passport copy required. Minimum of 6 months validity required from the arrival date.
- Photo Specification: Passport Size Photo with White Background (clear scanned Copy required)
- Previous Visa copy: If traveler has previous travel history on countries like Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, USA, UK and so on, need those clear VISA scanned copy.
- Flight and hotel reservations booking with dates clearly stated (DO NOT purchase until visa approval)

FAQ - General Visa Information
No. At Present our online application system only supports applications made in English.
We are doing our best to support as many computers, operating systems and internet browsers as possible but due to the technologies we use for our online application system, there are certain browsers we exclude due to their age or design. Currently our site is tested at IE 5.0 or later and Mozilla Firefox 3.5 or later.
Yes. You can save your online visa application wherever you see the "Save & Exit" icon. To login again and complete your application, you will require your unique "Visa Application Id". This number will have been sent to the email address that you supplied in your application security details.
Throughout the online form we have added "More Info" icons to some questions that might require further guidance.
If you didn't submit your application finally you can do the change. After submitting the application you can't change it.
All date fields in our forms are set up in the following format: dd/mm/yyyy (for example 21/08/2011).
Yes. But please check first that your inbox has not treated our email confirmation as SPAM and that you have given us the correct email address. If you have not received your confirmation email after 24 hours please contact us through Complain and Feedback link.
This could be because you did not save your application by selecting the "Save & Exit" option flagged by the following image on the application form or your did not retrieve your application within 7 days of last saving it. If you are sure you saved your application in the last seven days, empty your browser cache(temporary internet files) and try again.
